Who are the Crazy Dunkers ?
The Crazy Dunkers are the precursors of the acrobatic slam dunk in France. Originally, it is about friends' band located in France (Loire) which, having attended a representation of the discipline, decide to have fun by creating acrobatic figures, combinations with a ball, the whole with a basketball goal and mini trampolines, to make dunks.
Then they start to have some fame and begin to make demonstrations, public representations. Little by little, they are becoming more and more famous at the regional level at first, then at the national level by proposing real original shows.
Since, friends' band became a team of professional artists. The troop acquired its fame thanks to its performances on large-scale sports events from NBA games, to the Olympics Games as well as Euroleague of basketball or still preparation games of national teams.
The Crazy Dunkers, it is a team from 10 to 12 sports artists all in all. All French, they have a rich experience of the sports events and the sport shows. They acquired experience on the biggest international events and their know-how allow them to adapt themselves to all the contexts to propose spectacular and exceptional shows of 5 or 6 jumpers.
Being Crazy Dunkers it is above all a state of mind, a multi-sports culture, the sense of professionalism, an envy to share, to give and have fun.
The fame of Crazy Dunkers developed thanks to numerous representations in France but also in the world, on 5 continents:
- in Europe (France, Great-Britain, Belgium, Spain, Holland, Greece, Luxembourg...),
- in Asia (Jordania, Lebanon, Dubaï, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia...),
- in Africa (Morocco, Tunisia),
- in America (USA,...),
- in Oceania (Tahiti, New-Caledonia).
As any successful innovation, Crazy Dunkers have been copied, imitated. Nevertheless, they are still the team n°1 in France and in the world for its still unequalled references.
